EUROPEANA
Europeana, the digital platform that provides access to a rich collection of digitized cultural heritage artifacts from Europe served as an inspiring resource for our students to explore and engage with Europe's diverse cultural heritage. Students were taught how to browse through historical documents and artworks learning about Europe's history, art, culture and creative commons, licenses and rights as well. Since the Europeana platform also facilitates sharing not only of cultural resources across Europe and beyond but also of knowledge and ideas it turned to be a great place for our project idea dissemination.
A Learning Scenario was designed for blended instruction with activities based mostly on our Erasmus+ and eTwinning project. Actually it was the perfect way to get a great number of students of my school in the Erasmus+ project since it was applied during the Covid restriction period. It can easily be adapted in any class of any nationality, either at school level or as an international, collaborative project.

While working online during the Covid restriction period the students came up with the idea to create our own museum and host our outcomes. There were some suggestions about the app/tool to use and finally, since we needed some kind of training we gladly accepted the challenge to become members of the Built with Bits project, and actively contributed to the New European Bauhaus movement for a more beautiful and sustainable future for Europe.
A group of interested students attended the online workshops, explored existing projects and virtual spaces and created a VIRTUAL MUSEUM with Mozilla hubs, a virtual collaboration platform.
